This is a great facility; never over crowded, great monthly price through my medical insurance company. The machines are great, sauna is wonderful, tanning beds are hot, the basketball court is the perfect size, and the fitnesses classes are high energy. Showers are huge, lockers are wood and seem luxury vs metal lockers. The staff is helpful and friendly. Wishes: -I wish the hours were a little earlier or later. -Some of the bulbs in the tanning beds have been out a while and we know this is related to shipping delays but it’s been pretty inconvenient.

We love visiting Fitness Unlimited and Boco CrossFit. When we visit, this gym has been taking care of our entire family for close to 10 years. It is extremely well run and offers a variety of classes. We love the CrossFit gym run by Manny. He creates top notch workouts and provides excellent instruction. If we lived in Washington, we would be training at this gym 6 days a week.

Excellent facility. Allie is an awesome personal trainer who works with clients at all fitness levels. The gym is spacious, clean, and well equipped. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. The gym offers many services ranging from CrossFit to Silver Sneakers. Yoga and other exercise classes are held throughout the week. The locker rooms are clean and neat. Highly recommended.

When you start at Fitness Unlimited, your fitness level will improve quickly, usually in the first 30 days. The key to see results is consistency and commitment over time so that’s why we recommend 3 classes per week as a start. Sign up today!
Yes! We provide guidance on eating right or sleeping well which can help maximize energy levels – getting YOU maximum results from your efforts. Sign up today!
Nope! Most of our members start just like you. We assess each new members fitness level. Then our workouts are “universally scaled”, with a different version of each days workout designed for every level. As you level up you can take on more challenging variants of the workout if you desire. Sign up today!

If you’re a beginner and just starting out then 2-4 times per week will be enough to see results and allow you to adjust.

You’ll be sore some days, so allow yourself recovery days between training sessions at first – over the course of the following months work up towards 5 days per week if you want to maximize! Sign up today!

We offer an exciting, challenging and varied programming which will keep it fun! The workouts are published in advance

Some days are more strength focused where will focus on our lifts. Movements like barbell squats, kettlebell swings and occasionally some olympics lifts will be included.

Other days, we may focus more on cardio & conditioning with rowers and bikes. Some days are focused on body weight movements like pushups, sit-ups, and pull-ups. Some days are a mix of everything. Sign up today!

Each class is 60 minutes and led by qualified coaches. We always start together with a warm-up designed to activate the muscles being used in the workout.

The coach will brief the group on the workout, the movements, and the proper form. During the workout, the coach will be guiding and providing instruction.

At the end of class, we will cool down together to accelerate recovery and reduce potential injury. Sign up today!

Meet Rachel Chesson, Personal Trainer and General Manager of Fitness Unlimited Williamston. She is an Alumna of ECU with a BS in Exercise Physiology. She is no stranger to weight loss. In the beginning of her journey she lost 40lbs! In her own workouts she focuses heavily on barbell movements. However, Rachel has worked with clients ages 12-84yrs old. Whether you are a young athlete, or just someone looking to better your quality of life… she’s your girl!

John Whitley

Washington Trainer Basketball Coach

Born and raised in Washington, NC, John offers fast-paced sessions focusing on ball handling and shooting.

Basketball experience includes four years at Washington High School, a Post-Grad year at Moravian Prep, and named Captain his last year at East Carolina.

“My goal is to better prepare the kids to achieve their personal basketball goals.”

John Lampkins

Washington Trainer Basketball Coach

John Lampkins, known as “Coach John,” is described by many as passionate, patient, and a spiritually led person for all individuals, especially those who want to learn the game of basketball. John’s skills and training began as a player at Chocowinity High School. He took the game of basketball seriously and practiced diligently. His devotion to the game of basketball afforded his the opportunity to play on the same team with, against, and coach some of the most prominent athletes of our team.

Highlighting a few athletes Coach John played against include Tony Midgett (American University), Brian Rossin (Retired NBA/Hornets), Danny Moore (Cumberland University), and Harry Burres (N.C. State).

John has played semi-pro basketball with Chavis Height “Ray’s Team” League for six years, and a host of tournaments playing against elite players that included: Jerry Stackhouse (UNC – NBA Orlando Magic), Donald Williams (UNC), Rasheed Wallace (UNC – Retired NBA), Ed Cota (UNC – Professional Basketball Overseas), Jeff Capel (Duke – Assistant Coach at Duke), Chuckie Brown (N.C. State/Retired NBA), Gary Mallinson (St. Augustine), Corey Hightower (NBA), and Rickey Price (Duke).

John’s coaching and mentoring accomplishments include many basketball greats such as Jimmy Boston (Professional Overseas Basketball – Japan), Tyrone Greene (N.C. and A&T), Damian Wilkins (NBA – Detroit Pistons), Cor-j-Cox (Mississippi Valley State), Samantha Smith (Georgia – Southwestern State), Ebony Lawrence (Charlotte University), and many more.

Today, John shares his enthusiasm, expertise, and experience to basketball. Currently, he is coaching ABA-Pro Team East Carolina Trojans and AAU Gardner Road Youth Basketball team with Founders David West (NBA Indiana Pacers) and Dwayne West.

John is the proud founder and coach of the Washington Heels AAU Basketball League with five nationally ranked players by United States Specialty Sports Association standards. He also coaches a fourth-grade team that is ranked 20th by United States Basketball Association rankings.

John Lampkins is determined to continue making a difference in his community and the lives of youth through his passion and love for basketball.

Patrick Whaley

Washington Personal Training Director

Growing up, Eastern NC has always been home to me. I graduated from East Carolina in 2015 with a Bachelors’s in Exercise Physiology. Upon graduating I began working at Vidant Wellness in Greenville and I obtained my ACSM Personal Training, USAW-L1, and Crossfit Level 1 certifications. Through training clients from all walks of life regardless of their goals or abilities I really developed a wide variety of experience. I thoroughly enjoy working with a diverse population from people who want to lose weight, rehab, and all the way to performance training. Growing up playing sports year-round and also working on the farm has instilled an active lifestyle. I am a huge advocate for having a healthy lifestyle and living a functional life. I want us to move better and feel better and therefore have a better quality of life. One of my favorite quotes of all time is ”He who says he can and he who says he can’t, are both usually right”.

No matter what your motivations are or what your experience is I truly want to help you achieve your goals.
